LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Two drivers were injured after a vehicle ran a red light and struck another car at the intersection of McLeod and Flamingo just after 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Beverly Klausner, 85, of Las Vegas failed to stop at a red light in her 1999 Honda CRV while traveling southbound on McLeod, striking the 2012 VW Jetta driven by Clifford Zagala, 31, of Henderson.
Both drivers were transported to Sunrise Hospital. Klausner’s injuries were classified as critical, and Zagala’s were minor.
This collision remains under investigation.
