LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Alcohol may have been a factor in a Saturday evening accident that seriously injured a teenage girl and sent several other people to Las Vegas hospitals.
According to Metro, a collision between an SUV and a sedan happened at Owens and Statz in the northwest part of the valley about 9 p.m.
Up to five people were transported to the hospital. A 15-year-old female was in critical condition when transported but later was upgraded to serious condition.
A witness told News3 that the drivers got into a physical altercation after the accident.
Metro officers said alcohol might have been a factor. They investigated the accident well into the night.
