LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Metro police are warning people to be aware of their surroundings while waiting in the drive-thru lane of fast food restaurants.
During the past month there have been approximately five incidents in which people waiting in their vehicles in the drive-thru lane have been robbed.
In each case, an unknown black male adult suspect has approached the citizens and demanded money while armed with a firearm.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is encouraging residents of the community to beware and remain cautious while making purchases in drive-thru windows at fast food restaurants.
Metro is requesting assistance from the Las Vegas citizens in identifying the suspect(s) involved in these crimes.
