NORTH LAS VEGAS – [UPDATE] Police say two boys, ages 12 and 6, who were missing overnight from their home in North Las Vegas have been found safe at a home in Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas police Officer Chrissie Coon is crediting media reports about the disappearance of the two brothers for a tip to police and their recovery Thursday morning.
Coon tells The Associated Press it looks like the boys just ran away from home.
Family members reported the boys missing about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
That was about two hours after they left their home on Shiner Bock Court -- not far from East Centennial Parkway and Losee Road.
Coon says the police investigation is continuing.

At 6:16 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a home in the 6200 block of Shiner Bock Court, near East Centennial Parkway and Losee Road, regarding a missing juvenile report.
A family member reported 12-year-old De’Andric Price Jr. left home about 4 p.m. with his brother, 6-year-old De’Andric Price II. The boys have not returned.
De’Andric Price ll is described as 4-foot-4, 40 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with “27” on the front and blue jeans.
De’Andric Price Jr. is described as 5-2, 100 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. His left ear is pierced. Price Jr. was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt with “polo” written on the front and gray shorts.
The only difference in the names of the two boys is the suffix.
