LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A 17-year-old girl is awaiting her parents’ arrival from California after Metro officers say she escaped from what they are calling a prostitution-related kidnapping.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the girl saw an opportunity to get away when she found a security guard at 7:15 a.m. at the Rio Hotel and Casino.
She said she was with two men who would not allow her to leave the room they were staying in. Security then contacted Metro.
It is unclear if she traveled to Las Vegas willingly.
