Casino robbery suspect sought by Henderson police

HENDERSON – Henderson police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who robbed the Wildfire Casino on May 4.

The suspect approached a female employee behind the Wildfire Casino, 2551 Anthem Village Dr., at about 2:30 a.m. and threatened her with a handgun. He entered the casino and the employee was forced to lie on the floor while the suspect took money. The suspect fled through the back door.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old black male, about 5-feet-6 inches, weighing about 160 pounds, with facial hair. He was wearing khaki shorts, brown polo style striped shirt, white shoes and a tan fisherman’s cap.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to call the Henderson Police Department at (702) 267-4750 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or visit Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
