LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Clark County coroner’s office has released the identity of the man killed this morning after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a 2008 Suzuki GSXR1000 motorcycle ridden by Jacob David Poulsen, 26, of Las Vegas was traveling east on Ann Road and changing lanes from right to left. The front of the Suzuki impacted the left rear of a Honda, and Poulsen was ejected, flying at least 100 feet.
Poulsen was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda was not injured and remained at the scene for the collision investigation.
This is the 27th traffic-related fatality in Metro's jurisdiction in 2013.
This collision remains under investigation by Metro's Accident Investigations Section.
