LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the toddler killed Thursday night when she wandered away from home and into the steer and was struck by a vehicle.

Clara Stephanie Castrejon-Jimenez, 1 year and 10 months old, was killed at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Pecos Road south of Dillon Avenue.

She was hit by a 2000 Ford Windstar minivan while she was in the right travel lane on Pecos Road.

Metro said the toddler was then possibly struck again by a second vehicle, which failed to stop at the scene.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, becoming the 29th traffic fatality in Metro's jurisdiction this year.
