LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Clark County coroner’s office has released the identity of a moped driver killed Wednesday morning in a collision with a truck on Sahara Avenue east of Las Verdes Street.
Rory Edward Felix, 26, of Reno was eastbound on Sahara just after 10:30 a.m. on a 2007 Shanghai moped when he ran into the back of a 1995 Freightliner box truck, which was stopped in traffic.
Felix was transported to UMC Trauma Center and later pronounced dead by medical personnel.
This was the 85th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD's jurisdiction in 2012.
