LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- The Clark County coroner's office has ruled on the deaths in a suspected murder-suicide that happened Wednesday evening in the southwest part of the valley.
Megan Kathleen Lanza, 38, was identified today as the homicide victim. She died of a gunshot wound to the head and chest.
Her husband, 51-year-old Nicolas Frank Lanza died of a gunshot wound to the head after killing his wife. The manner of death was ruled a suicide.
According to Metro, the incident happened Wednesday evening on Thunder Spirit Street.
Police were called to the home to conduct a welfare check after family members reported they were unable to contact the occupants. When officers were able to gain access, they found Megan and Frank dead inside. Police said they were married, but had been experiencing recent relationship problems and were currently separated.
