LAS VEGAS -- Metro police are investigating a woman found dead in an alleyway near the intersection of 10th Street and Stewart Avenue in Downtown Las Vegas on November 8.
Arriving officers found the body of a deceased female and summoned Homicide Detectives who assumed the investigation.
The victim is described as a white female adult approximately 55 years of age, standing 5-foot-6-inches tall with a medium to heavy build, red hair, and a scar on her left shoulder.
The identity of the victim and exact cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
The ongoing investigation into this case now places the victim’s age at between 45 and 55 years old, and indicates the body was placed in the location of discovery sometime between 1 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on November 8, the day the body was discovered.
