LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Today downtown Las Vegas is celebrating another grand renovation to one of our older downtown casinos.
Dignitaries cut the ribbon today for the Downtown Grand Las Vegas, signaling it's official opening.
Unofficially, the doors have been open for a couple weeks. The boutique hotel replaces the once shuttered lady luck hotel and casino.
The property got a complete makeover, with 634 hotel rooms, two towers and numerous bars and restaurants.
During today's ribbon cutting, there were some new and familiar faces.
