LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Family court judge Steven Jones has been suspended from the bench.
The Nevada Commission on judicial discipline took the action today, following Jones' recent indictment in a $3 million fraud scheme.
He faces trial next august. By law, he's been suspended with pay. Jones and five other defendants are accused of defrauding investors in a scheme that ran from for ten years.
Jones was first elected to the bench in 1992.
