LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The Clark County coroner has not released the identities of all three the people who died in Thursday morning’s shooting on the Las Vegas Strip, but family members confirmed who some of the victims were and talked about what their loved ones were like.

When a black Range Rover took off, after police say its passengers shot at a Maserati and caused a taxi cab to explode, it took with it three lives.

The driver of the Maserati, Kenny Cherry Jr., was one of them. He was an aspiring rapper who went by the name Kenny Clutch.

“When I talk about my son, Kenny was a smart lovable person and he cared about other people,” said his father, Kenny Cherry Sr.

Cherry was born in Berkeley, Calif., and moved to Las Vegas a few years ago. Family members say Cherry, a father of three, was a likeable guy who loved to smile.

The Maserati that Cherry was driving continued into an intersection after the shooting, causing a pile up.

Four other people were taken to the hospital. We believe one of them was Cherry's passenger, who police say was injured and is cooperating with police.

Those inside a taxi cab that caught on fire in the pileup -- the driver and his passenger -- were pronounced dead at the scene.

Family members say the driver was Michael Bolden, a caring and loving man who moved to Las Vegas about a year ago from Detroit.

Boldon worked the overnight shift for Desert Cab.

His son, Michael Bolden Jr., who drives limousines during the same shift, said he hasn't taken a breath since hearing of his dad's death.

Family members say it's even more tragic to know their loved ones appeared to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
