LAS VEGAS (KSNV Channel 3) --
An altercation involving two female blackjack dealers Friday night at the Bellagio sent the victim to the hospital with facial wounds and the other to jail.
Police said that the incident occurred about 9:45 p.m. Metro Officer Marcus Martin could not confirm if the dealers were working at the time.
Brenda Jean Stokes, 50, was charged with burglary, battery with a deadly weapon, battery with use of a deadly weapon-substantial bodily harm and mayhem. Martin said a weapon was confiscated. Stokes was booked into the Clark County Detention Center. Stokes was originally identified as Brenda Wilson.
The unnamed victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital with deep facial wounds from an unspecified edged weapon, Martin said.
MGM spokeswoman Yvette Monet said there was an altercation in blackjack pit No. 2 that resulted in one of the women being struck in the face with a sharp object.

Monet did not know of the condition of the victim as of mid-afternoon Saturday.
