LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- A woman was critically injured in an auto-pedestrian accident shortly after noon today that might be a result of impaired driving.
A woman reported to be outside of a market crosswalk was struck by a red Ferrari in front of the Econo Lodge in the 1100 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South not far from East Charleston Boulevard.
Metro watch commander Lt. Les Lane said the woman was transported to UMC Trauma in critical condition.
A short time later the driver of the vehicle was given a field sobriety test by Metro officers. Speeding may have also been a factor.
