HENDERSON – A fire at an auto repair shop caused about $20,000 in damage Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release from the Henderson Fire Department.
Firefighters responded just after 4:40 p.m. to the business in the 700 block of West Sunset Road. A coordinated fire attack quickly brought the fire under control within 10 minutes.
The incident was isolated to the original business and did not affect other businesses in the same strip center. The fire caused moderate damage to the interior of the business and several automobiles.
All employees evacuated the occupancy safely. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
