LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) --
Metro is seeking four Hispanic individuals -- three men and one woman -- in connection with a fatal shooting Saturday evening at a gas station at 21st Street and Elm Avenue.
Metro reports that at about 7:15 p.m., dispatch received a 911 call from a woman reporting that a man had been shot at the corner of 21 Street and Elm Avenue.
Responding officers discovered a male lying on the sidewalk, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived and transported the victim to UMC Trauma, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives were called and took over the investigation. A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and his wife were confronted by a group of individuals prior to the shooting at a nearby convenience store.
Detectives believe the couple left the store and saw the same group of individuals as they were also walking away from the store. A second confrontation took place between the victim and the suspects, at which time one of the individuals fired several shots striking the victim. The suspects then fled.
Suspect No. 1 is a Hispanic male between 15 and 21, standing about 5-foot-9 with a thin build, wearing a black and white cap.
Suspect No. 2 is a Hispanic male between 15 and 21 with a thin build, wearing a red cap.
Suspect No.3 is a Hispanic male between 15 and 21, standing approximately 5-foot-3, weighing about 240 pounds.
Suspect No. 4 is a Hispanic female between 15 and 21 with long dark hair.
The suspects have not been identified and the investigation remains ongoing.
The victim's name was not available as of Sunday afternoon from the Clark County coroner's office.
Metro police on Monday released photos which show two males wearing dark clothing and baseball caps and a female with long dark hair also wearing dark clothing. At this time these are only people of interest.
