LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A local College of Southern Nevada student who sat with first lady Michelle Obama during the president's State of the Union address is back in Las Vegas.
Alan Aleman, 20 says attending Tuesday's speech still feels like a dream.
Aleman says he was honored to represent the Hispanic and immigrant community in Washington.
Not only was this his first trip to the nation's capital, Aleman says he and the first lady's guests received a special tour of the white house where he met the first dog, Bo.
Aleman says he had a brief conversation with President Obama about immigration reform and also had the chance to take a picture with the first lady.
