NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) -- Authorities say a 22-year-old Las Vegas man has died of his injuries after a walk-up shooting that also wounded a teenager outside an apartment in North Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas police say a person with a gun apparently approached a vehicle where the two were sitting and opened fire about 1 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Carey Road.
The 16-year-old was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas. Police say his injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
The names of man who has died and the teen who was wounded weren't made public, and North Las Vegas police didn't immediately release information about the shooting suspect.
Officials say this is the fifth homicide in the city this year.

The critically wounded man is from Las Vegas. He was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
