LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews 3) -- A man who was convicted in a deadly shooting at a Las Vegas apartment complex will spend 64 years to life in prison.

A judge sentenced Matthew Washington today for the murder of Nathan Rawls back in November along with three counts of attempted murder.

Prosecutors say Washington fired into an apartment near Sahara Avenue and Paradise Road with four people inside.

Rawls was shot in the back and killed. Two others were wounded.

Martell Moten was arrested with Washington.

He is scheduled to go on trial for similar charges in October.
