LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A 25-year-old man was killed early Saturday when he was ejected after his vehicle rolled on a ramp to Interstate 215 at Windmill Lane.

Juan Diaz was identified as the victim by the Nevada Highway Patrol after it completed its investigation on Saturday evening.

The accident happened about 2:45 a.m. Saturday. The NHP reported that a silver 2000 GMC Sierra C1500 truck was traveling westbound entering the 215 from Windmill Lane. Diaz drove the truck left, which caused it to rotate counter-clockwise across the on-ramp lanes and off the left edge of the road. The truck continued down the rock-covered embankment. It overturned and Diaz, who was not wearing his seat belt, was ejected. The truck came to a stop on westbound I-215.

Diaz was transported in critical condition to UMC Trauma where he was pronounced dead at 6:32 a.m.
