LAS VEGAS -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's sexual assault section asking the public's help in identifying a person of interest related to a sexual assault that occurred a hotel near Flamingo Road and South Las Vegas Boulevard on March 12 at approximately 7 a.m.
Metro has released video of the person of interest which can be seen on Metro's YouTube channel.
The victim was escorted by a citizen to security where she was able to call for police assistance.
Detectives recovered video surveillance of a person running from the scene where the sexual assault was reported to have occurred.
The suspect is described as a light skinned, mixed race or black male standing approximately 5-foot-6-inches, weighing 130 pounds with very short hair. He was last seen wearing a light colored sport coat with black collar, blue jeans, and dark shoes.
