Metro officer injured in accident on Sahara near Maryland

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – Traffic on eastbound East Sahara Avenue near South Maryland Parkway is shut down after a Metro officer riding a motorcycle was injured this morning.

The accident occurred around 11:10 a.m. The officer was transported to UMC with nonlife-threatening injuries.

There is no word yet on what type of vehicle hit the motorcycle or the cause of the accident.
