LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is seeking help locating a man suspected of attacking a woman Wednesday near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road.
According to police, a woman was walking in that area when she was grabbed from behind, held, and threatened with a knife. The victim fought back and suffered minor injuries but was able to escape her attacker.
The suspect is described as a black male adult who appeared to be in his early 20s, standing approximately 6-feet and weighing about 170 pounds. His eyes were described as being a very light color brown.
He was last seen wearing a red “doo rag”, a white crew neck short sleeved T-shirt and Dickie-style long red shorts. The suspect was on foot and ran from the area after the attack.
