I just posted this on News 3 What about malfunctions Metro claims constantly?We spent $42 million on a radio,that allowed Stanley Gibson to be murdered(at least that's what we are lead to believe).Now,Metro wants more money for something that will likely malfunction when they want to hide something.The public is sick of all the shootings of unarmed citizens.What we need is new leadership,officers that are trained properly,and The Department of Justice to do monthly reviews of Metro,and for The Department of Justice to investigate every officer involved shooting Metro is involved in. That is the only way we,THE PUBLIC,will know the TRUTH.

One more statement, WHY won't metro put cameras in thier cars!!!!! They film us at every street corner, yet the police union screams everytime it is mentioned!!! What are they trying to hide??? Maybe thier would be less of this if metro knew what thier officers were doing instead of taking joy rides to arizona!!!

Yeah, not our tax money. This is why metro wants more money for thier budget. They have to keep paying off relatives of the people they shoot, peoplehom could of been subdued by other means!!!!!!! Let's not forget what they did to eric scott!!!! Also people they sexually harass and other people whom they violate thier constitutional rights because thier officers don't know the law, so they make up thier own.. How much did that guy get just for filming a metro cop, and then the cop turns on him, comes back and starts abusing him. Although the guy was in the right. By the way people, it has been justified in district courts that it IS legal to film police officers and other public employees while they are working!!!!

I think there are answers that need to be made public here but I don't plan on jumping on the "metro was wrong and should pay" bandwagon. We do not live in a Norman Rockwell society - we never did. And the reality is that when people behave in a certain way, it becomes more about protecting others who may get hurt instead of protecting the person causing the problem. There has to be a level of personal accountability and personal responsibilty. Every interaction with metor doesn't always end in weapons fire but if you make the choice to act in a suspicious fashion - you take the risk of a full force fatal reaction.

I hope she gets millions, and the money should come from the Metro union moneys dues!
