Parents on edge with concerns over school safety

The Newtown shooting has put parents across the valley on heightened alert and recent rumors spreading through Clark County schools are making some parents very nervous.

I will not take any chances when it comes to the safety of my child. What is the difference between a threat and a rumor - maybe its time to home school.

You can be concerned but do not let it over take your life. School security is up and I believe administrators have a higher awareness today. Nobody is safe from anything anymore, you can on be aware and practice safety when out and about and in your homes.
