Police investigate armed robbery at Vegas pawn shop

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A pawn shop filled with customers is robbed in broad daylight.

It happened this morning at the Super Pawn off Stewart and Nellis.

According to Metro, the suspects entered the store around 9:15 a.m. One suspect had a hand gun and fired, possibly into the ceiling, and confronted a clerk. The other suspect, who had hammer, began breaking cases and taking jewelry. He also took money from the register.

The store had about 15 people inside. Police say there is surveillance video.

Police are looking for two men. The first suspect is white in his early 20s, hooded sweatshirt and dark glasses. The other suspect is a black man in his late 20s, 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, wearing dark jeans and a dark blue hooded jacket.
