LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Metro police is asking for help in identifying two men suspected of shooting a juvenile standing in line waiting to buy shoes at Meadows Mall.
LVMPD Officers responded to the Meadows Mall on August 17 just after 4 p.m. to investigate reports an individual that had been shot.
Arriving officers found a black male juvenile suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by arriving medical personnel to the UMC Trauma Center in serious but stable condition where he remains hospitalized in serious condition.
The investigation into the crime has revealed the victim and approximately 50 other individuals were in line outside of the South end of the mall awaiting the release of a new style of tennis shoe when he was approached by two suspects.
One suspect struck the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground. The second suspect then produced a handgun and fired several shots at the victim as he lay on the ground.
The first suspect in this crime is described as a black male adult, approximately 20 years of age, standing approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
The second suspect is described as a black male adult, 20 years of age, standing approximately 5-foot-10 and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue pants and green Air Jordan tennis shoes.
Following this crime both suspects fled the area in a grey Dodge Charger.

The first portion of the surveillance footage shows multiple individuals, including possibly the suspects, fleeing the area on foot immediately following the shooting.
