LAS VEGAS -- The Nevada Department of Transportation, starting on Monday, Oct. 15, will initiate eight days of lane and ramp closures in the northwest Valley.
The closures are related to work on Phase 1 of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Project. Message boards will be put up to alert motorists of the dates of times of the closures.
The closures are as follows:- Monday, Oct. 15 – 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-- The right lane and shoulder on U.S. 95 northbound will be closed from the Lake Mead on-ramp to the Cheyenne off-ramp.
-- The Lake Mead on-ramp to northbound U.S. 95 will also be closed. Freeway motorists will still be able to exit via the Cheyenne northbound off-ramp.
- Tuesday, Oct. 16 – 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-- The right lane and shoulder on northbound U.S. 95 will be closed from the Cheyenne on-ramp to the Craig Road on-ramp.
-- Cheyenne Avenue on-ramp to northbound U.S. 95 will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
-- Craig Road on-ramp and off-ramp to northbound U.S. 95 will be closed from 1 to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 17 – 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-- The right lane and shoulder on southbound U.S. 95 will be closed from the Rancho Drive flyover to the Gowan Bridge.
-- Craig Road on-ramp to southbound U.S. 95 will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 18 – 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-- The right lane and shoulder on southbound U.S. 95 will be closed from Smoke Ranch Drive to the Lake Mead off-ramp.
-- Lake Mead off-ramp will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Flaggers will be at Rock Springs and Lake Mead for trucks exiting.
- Thursday, Oct. 18, 9 p.m. to Friday, Oct. 19 at 5 a.m.
-- The right lane will be closed on southbound U.S. 95 from north of the Ann Road Bridge to the Rancho Drive flyover.
-- Ann Road on-ramp to southbound U.S. 95 will also be closed.
- Saturday, Oct. 20, 7 a.m. to Monday, Oct. 22 at 5 a.m.
-- Cheyenne Avenue will be closed from Rainbow Boulevard to Tenaya Way.
-- Cheyenne Avenue on-ramp and off-ramp to southbound U.S. 95 will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
-- Cheyenne Avenue on-ramp and off-ramp to northbound U.S. 95 will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
