Over the past week News 3 has been reporting on former foster parent Marvie Hill, who is accused of child abuse. Today we have new information in the case. News 3 learned that a second man linked to Hill is also facing charges for sexually abusing at least one foster child. News 3's Marissa Mike has more information. His name is Eddie Wormwood and is accused of abusing a child under the age of 14 multiple times.
NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A second suspect is facing charges of sexually abusing children in foster care.
Former foster dad Marvie Hill went before a judge on Tuesday, facing child abuse and lewdness charges. He is free on $40,000 bond.
A criminal complaint filed in North Las Vegas Justice Court names a second suspect.
Eddie Wormwood is charged with 10 counts of sexual assault of a minor under 14 for incidents that allegedly occurred in November 2005.
Wormwood worked with Hill at the Unity Family Services Foster Care Organization.
Hill has been stripped of his license to care for kids until the investigation is complete.
