LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) --
A 47-year-old man was killed in a rollover on South Durango Drive just south of West Desert Inn Road on Saturday morning.
Excessive speed was though to be a factor in the accident, the 22nd traffic fatality in Metro's jurisdiction this year.
The Metro accident report said, in part, "Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate a 2012 Nissan Leaf crossover was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Durango Drive through the intersection of Desert Inn Road. The driver of the Nissan failed to maintain the travel lanes, leaving the roadway to the right south of the intersection.

The driver was pronounced dead by responding medical personnel.
The collision remains under investigation.
The victim will be identified by the Clark County coroner's office once relatives have been notified.
