LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Clark County Coroner’s office has identified the victim of a recent homicide as Daniel Dean Way, 19, of Las Vegas.
A vehicle of interest in this case is described as a silver or grey late model Chevrolet or GMC extended cab four wheel drive pickup truck with a raised suspension system and a loud exhaust.
It was seen leaving the area of Los Feliz Street and Bonanza Road at approximately 4 a.m. on the morning of the crime.
LVMPD Homicide Detectives are attempting to locate anyone who has any knowledge of Dean Way including:
- His place of residence
- His current or previous employers
- Any family members
- friends or associates
- His activities leading up to Aug. 17
Dean Way was found on the side of Los Feliz Street, just north of Bonanza Road.
In earlier reports, officers were asking help in indentifying a victim found in the valley who was described as a white male adult, 16 to 25 years of age, approximately 5-foot-10 tall and weighing between 135 and 150 pounds with short light brown hair.
The victim also had a distinctive tattoo of a green skull on his right shoulder, and a band with letters on his left forearm.
