LAS VEGAS -- All lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard just north of Tropicana Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic intermittently from Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8 between the hours of midnight and 8 a.m. each morning.
McCarthy Construction Company workers are required to close Las Vegas Boulevard in both directions, and to close the bridges while dismantling a large tower crane at the MGM Grand.
Traffic will be stopped intermittently and will not be re-routed.
Additionally, the pedestrian bridge between MGM Grand and New York-New York, and the pedestrian bridge between MGM Grand and Tropicana will be closed intermittently to foot traffic on the same days and hours.
Closures of the road and bridges will occur approximately eight times each morning for about 20 minutes each.
