LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Two children, ages 3 and 5, remain in critical condition today after Saturday's single-vehicle rollover at the entrance to Springs Preserve.

Six people were injured in the accident shortly after 3:30 p.m.

The 1992 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Meadows Lane approaching Valley View Boulevard. The car crossed Valley View at a high rate of speed and side-swiped the entrance of the park before striking a fixed post causing the car to roll over on the driver's side on onto the rooftop.

The oldest passenger was Blanca Arreola, 37, of Las Vegas. Metro reported that she was in the front passenger seat while her 16-year-old son was driving. She was last reported in serious condition while her son's injuries were moderate.

Four juveniles in the back seat were injured. A 5-year-old female and a 3-year-old male were reported in critical condition while a 5-year-old female and a 15-year-old male suffered moderate injuries.

All six were transported to UMC.

Metro reported that the Camry had been involved in an earlier hit-and-run accident in a parking lot at a shopping center.
