LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A grand jury indicted an amateur mixed martial arts fighter based in Las Vegas, charging him with several violent rapes of a woman.
Kasheem Peterson, 31, faces 11 counts, including sexual assault.
Peterson's career was derailed in November when he was arrested.
The charges against Peterson include sexual assault, strangulation with intent to commit sexual assault, coercion and destruction of property.
The indictment says the crimes happened between December 2010 and August 2012 to the same woman.
The Clark County district attorney's office accuses Peterson of lighting the woman's books, mail and clothing on fire, smashing a television with a chair and busting holes in the drywall.
