Metro received a call on November 11 at approximately 6:37 a.m., reporting a shooting at a residence located in the 3200 block of Point Lobos Drive. The caller indicated one person had been shot and another was injured.

Arriving LVMPD patrol officers located an adult male in the front yard of the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Another male in front of the residence was suffering multiple lacerations to his face and head.

Both men were transported to the UMC Trauma Center where the subject suffering the apparent gunshot wound was pronounced deceased. The second party, identified as Jason Sise, 34 years of age of Las Vegas, was treated for his non life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation initiated by Homicide detectives revealed just prior to the shooting, both parties had been inside the residence where a verbal altercation between Sise and the deceased victim had turned into a physical confrontation.

As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Sise in connection with this incident. He was transported from UMC Trauma to the Clark County Detention Center where he faces one count of Murder with a Deadly Weapon. A booking photo of Sise accompanies this release.

The identity of the deceased and the exact cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Anyone with any information about this incident is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 828-3521 or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 385-5555 or on the internet at
