Victims in Northern Beltway rollover, motorcycle accident ID'd

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – The Clark County coroner’s office has released the identities of two people killed this week on Las Vegas roadways.

James Calvin Perkins, 64, of Las Vegas was killed in a rollover Tuesday on Clark County 215 between Decatur and Jones on the Northern Beltway.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said Perkins driving the concrete mixer just before 9:50 a.m. when the vehicle veered off the roadway, turned over and caught fire. The coroner said Perkins died of acute carbon monoxide intoxication because of the fire.

The Northern Beltway was shut down for several hours for the investigation.

Tyler Weber, 19, of Las Vegas died Wednesday when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a 2006 Honda Civic in the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Miller Lane.
