LAS VEGAS (KSNV – A truck driver was killed this morning after a concrete mixer truck overturned on Clark County 215 between Decatur and Jones boulevards.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott says the accident occurred just after 9:50 a.m. The truck veered off the Northern Beltway for an unknown reason, hit some construction cones then rode a construction barricade about 200 feet until it flipped over and stopped. The truck then caught on fire.

It is unknown whether the driver died because of the crash or the fire.

The 215 remains shut down in either direction near Jones.
