Hospital evacuated for 2 hours as package checked out

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- The Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital on Nellis Air Force Base was evacuated for about two hours today when a suspicious package was discovered.

The package turned out to be magazines, according to Nellis Air Force Base spokesman Scott Knuteson.

Knuteson says about 200 people, including patients and staff, were affected.
