North Las Vegas standoff ends after nearly eight hours

NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- Two men are behind bars after a standoff in a North Las Vegas neighborhood.

According to police, the situation began around 3 p.m. at a home near Washburn and Edna.

Police say the standoff lasted about eight hours.

Officials say U.S. marshals served arrest warrants for two men: Randy Stubbs, wanted for burglary; and Adam Temple, wanted for assault.

Stubbs surrendered around 7 p.m., and police took Temple into custody just after 11 p.m.
