NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- North Las Vegas police are looking for the second person responsible for three home invasions, all involving local elderly homeowners.

Police arrested one of the two suspects this past week.

Davon Lyons, 19, was in court Tuesday. He faces nearly two dozen felony charges.

In all three incidents one suspect ordered the victims at gunpoint to lie face down on the floor while the other ransacked the home.

One of the victims said he didn’t think the two men would follow him into his garage.

Detectives said they believe two suspects lingered in the neighborhood and looked for opportunity targets, approaching the elderly victims with a gun through an open garage door.

“I’m looking down that barrel of that gun and thinking if chooses to pull the trigger, I’m done,” said Gregory, one of the five victims in the three home invasions.

Gregory says the suspects stole, among other things, more than 30 pounds of jewelry belonging to his wife, who passed away just a few weeks before

Some safety tips: When you come home, close the garage door immediately. And it's helpful if you take pictures and descriptions of your property in case they get stolen.

If you have any information about these incidents, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
