LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Kyle Canyon evacuees who left their home almost two weeks ago because of the Carpenter 1 Wildfire can finally return home today.

But for families with children, it’s been a challenge to find some normalcy for the kids.

On Tuesday night, Santa Fe Station Casino held a free bowling event for evacuees. Many of the children were excited as they have been cooped up in hotel rooms or at a relative’s house.

The Children’s Garden Learning Center also is providing help to evacuated families. It is offering free day care and summer camps to kids while families get back on their feet.

Call the office number at (702) 649-5425 for more information.
