Suspect sought in purse theft at casino parking garage

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected of taking a purse from a woman in an off-Strip casino parking garage.

According to the Metro news release, the suspect entered the casino Aug. 10 for several minutes before following the victim to the parking garage. There, he forcefully took her purse and fled on foot.

The suspect attempted to flee on a scooter but was unsuccessful in starting it. About 30 minutes later, the suspect returned -- wearing a green T-shirt -- and recovered the scooter.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 25 years old, about 6-foot-3 and 145 pounds.

He had worn a gray T-shirt and black gym shorts with a white stripe on the sides. Later, the suspect wore a green T-shirt with white lettering on the front.
