LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The names of the victims of a wrong-way, head-on crash Sunday morning on U.S. 95 have been released.

Gil Rodriguez Gil, 29, of Henderson and Jacob Ryan Baker, 28, of Las Vegas died in the crash on U.S. 95 and Corn Creek Road.

"We got a call at 7:13 about a wrong-way driver in a silver Acura headed southbound in the northbound lanes; then, a few minutes later, we got the call about the accident," Trooper Jeremie Elliott told News 3. "We have no idea yet where the wrong-way driver originated in the northbound lanes."

Elliott said the Acura hit a Subaru head-on. The drivers of each vehicle were the only occupants. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
