Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas in Henderson to close

Ritz-Carlton spokeswoman Vivian Deuschl said Monday owner Village Hospitality has decided it can't continue to fund the hotel.
About 350 employees will be out of work but Deuschl says efforts are being made to relocate workers to other Ritz-Carltons, Marriotts or hotels in the Las Vegas area.
Employees were told about the closure on Monday.
The hotel has 348 rooms. It will remain fully operational until its closing date of May 2.
Village Hospitality LLC owns the resort and bought it last year. Lake Las Vegas is a 3,600-acre development 20 miles southeast of the Las Vegas Strip.
Lake Las Vegas is now in bankruptcy.
