His family is well known in the Las Vegas community and he gets his philosophy from his father, former UNLV basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian.

Now, Republican Danny Tarkanian is running for U.S. Senate. He tells station owner Jim Rogers that teamwork, whether on the court or in government, doesn't need to tackle every problem but what they do take on they must do "great."
